Yorkie & Pom Care Guide...

                                    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!!!!

Before you read any further, make sure you realize that a Yorkshire Terrier or Pomeranian puppy! They require alot of time, attention and human interaction. Even my biggest puppies are small. The tiny Yorkies & Pomeranians require extra attention and a very close eye on them at all times. I do not recommend that you purchase a Yorkshire Terrier or Pom, especially a tiny (teacup) if you are gone alot, have small children or if you do not plan on making him or her a part of your family. I beg you to read up on this breeds! This is just a guide not a professional book!Never feed a Yorkie or Pom table scraps and any people food. We feed our babies "Beneful" and recommend you continue our food regimen. They have very sensitive digestive systems. They also have small throats and can choke. Be careful of the rawhide chew toys and any plastic chew toy that a small piece can be chewed off and get lodged in their tiny throats or lodged in their tummies.
When your puppy comes home to you, he/she is already familiar with the puppy training pads. We do not like to take them outside for potty training. You can continue this form of potty training and use the Puppy Training Pads.We also have convenient trays that holds the pee-pee pads in place and is much neater and cleaner. You can get these products at your local pet store or order online.
They have reasonably priced pet items for all your pet needs.

Again, these are just my recommendations and suggestions for you.  I encourage you to do plenty of research, discuss with your Veterinarian your desire to bring a Yorkie or Pomeranian into your home and as a part of your family and use his/her guidance as well in your decision making.

Yorkies & Poms are wonderful, fun~loving and true blessings to add to your life.  But you must be ready for the responsibility.
